David Street Visit Week 7

The Tainui Team ventured down to David Street School to teach the younger children childhood games. We had a great afternoon, thank you to the teachers and students from David Street middle school for having us.

    We had a lot of fun.
    We both enjoyed the experience to teach young one's cultural game's of our country.

  2. It was great teaching the kids games as they enjoyed it and picked up the game really quick. As much as they enjoyed it I enjoyed it aswell so it was a great day.

  5. At DSS I played poi rakua with Te, James and other David street students.
    It was great and I enjoyed teaching it to the younger students.

  6. I played football at David Street.
    It was fun and interesting because most of them had played so I had alot of fun.
    The experience was awesome because I news to go there so it was cool going back and teaching them football.

  10. I taught them Go Home Stay Home. I enjoyed the experience as I taught my brother and a couple of other kids I know.

  14. Me, Alex, Faith, Chloe, Ella and Aljual played Go Home Stay Home with the DSS kids.
    It was very enjoyable because all the kids had a blast.
    The experience was amazing because we got to teach the children our childhood games.

  16. Ella,Leah,Faith,Aljual,Chloe,Grace and I we played go home stay home and the DSS kids enjoyed it and we enjoyed it too ,It was nice meeting new kids that I have never meet and it was a great game because it was burning there energy.

  18. Me , Ellie and Kayla taught go fish , snap and Poi Rakau . It was pretty fun and the kids enjoyed it and listened to what we told them to do .

    Human knot
    Chinese wispers
    And British Bulldogs.
    I enjoyed playing all these games with the younger ones and I had a lot of fun.
