Malala's Inspirational Speech that captived UN (United Nations) Audience

It is now Week 5 and we have nearly completed our persuasive speech.

In class we viewed what happened to Malala as a 15 year out and her amazing speech to the UN as a 16 year. We had a brief discussion about what she went through and her speech content.

Malala Yousafzai

You can view again the BBC Interview and her UN speech from the links below.

                                                 Best of Malala's UN Speech

Comment on what you think of this girl for standing up for a specific human right and why was she trying to persuade the UN and the world about terrorists, her own personal experience and human rights.

Looking forward to some very powerful comments from Room 1 that supports her powerful speech.

Cross Country Week 3

After soon terrible weather, our School Cross Country went a head on a sunny afternoon. These photos are taken on the farm section of the course and it was great to see so many students still smiling after crossing the muddiest section of the farm.

These lovely students had time to stop for a photo pose.

Write a comment about Cross Country and how did you feel at the end of the course.

Congratulations Tainui Team for taking out the Te Kotahitanga Trophy.

I am super proud of everyone!
