It is now Week 5 and we have nearly completed our persuasive speech.

Comment on what you think of this girl for standing up for a specific human right and why was she trying to persuade the UN and the world about terrorists, her own personal experience and human rights.

Looking forward to some very powerful comments from Room 1 that supports her powerful speech.

  1. It was a very powerful speech, and I think she is very brave for standing up for all the girls.I like what she said 1 child,1 teacher,1 book and 1 pen can change the world. Its very sad that she got shot in the head but the good thing is that she survived, and dosen't have brain damage or something like that.Well Done Malala for standing up for the girls!!!

  5. Malala was standing up for the right of girls being allowed an education. She was saying that the extremists are ruining the image of Islam, peace and brotherhood over murder and power. I think she was very brave to stand up for girls at as young as 11, get shot in the head by the Taliban for it and still continue to fight for what she believed in. Malala is a great inspiration and role model!

  8. Very powerful speech I'm so surprised that she wasn't scared to stand up for girl rights cause that's how she got shot before because she stood up for girl rights and did a speech and later that day I'm pretty sure that was when she got shot. What a strong girl!. But I think one of her main points were saying that the terrorist were ripping her country/village apart cause Islam is all about peace and harmony. What a dreadful thing that happened to her. She is a true role model to the United Nation and the rest of the world.

  20. She is a very inspirational person and at just 16 years of age she will most likely aspire to greater things. It was very unfortunate that she got shot and the reason that she got shot isn't fair. It's so cool that some people are able to stand up for what they believe and do it for the right reasons. She should be more recognised around the world for her influential actions.
