Comment on what you think of this girl for standing up for a specific human right and why was she trying to persuade the UN and the world about terrorists, her own personal experience and human rights.
Looking forward to some very powerful comments from Room 1 that supports her powerful speech.

It was a very powerful speech, and I think she is very brave for standing up for all the girls.I like what she said 1 child,1 teacher,1 book and 1 pen can change the world. Its very sad that she got shot in the head but the good thing is that she survived, and dosen't have brain damage or something like that.Well Done Malala for standing up for the girls!!!
ReplyDeleteI think she is a very strong women to say that speech and get shot for it she said 1 child,1 teacher,1 book,1 pen i think that is a great saying.
ReplyDeleteI think it was an powerful speech and a strong girl and she get ahot on her head but luckily she was atrong enough and i liked the word that 1teacher, 1 student, 1 book and 1pen can change the world and it was an powerful speech.
ReplyDeleteshe is going to change the world one day it is amazing how powerful people can be
ReplyDeleteMalala was standing up for the right of girls being allowed an education. She was saying that the extremists are ruining the image of Islam, peace and brotherhood over murder and power. I think she was very brave to stand up for girls at as young as 11, get shot in the head by the Taliban for it and still continue to fight for what she believed in. Malala is a great inspiration and role model!
ReplyDeleteIt was a very powerful speech. She is really brave to say it in front of all those people. But it was really sad how she got shot in the head. Good job Malala for standing up for all the girls.
ReplyDeleteWow these are cool comments but we need more Room 1.
ReplyDeleteVery powerful speech I'm so surprised that she wasn't scared to stand up for girl rights cause that's how she got shot before because she stood up for girl rights and did a speech and later that day I'm pretty sure that was when she got shot. What a strong girl!. But I think one of her main points were saying that the terrorist were ripping her country/village apart cause Islam is all about peace and harmony. What a dreadful thing that happened to her. She is a true role model to the United Nation and the rest of the world.
ReplyDeleteYes is a true role model who defied death to make her point. Samuel in future remember 'because' is the true way to say cause. Mrs Armstrong
Deletebut you can also say cause too.

ReplyDeleteit was really sad that girls cant go to school in there country and she really lucky she is still alive. btw i am done with my speech
ReplyDeleteIts suprising how she got shot but she still carry's out her dream of getting education for all kids.
ReplyDeleteThat is so unfair that girls don't get to go to school and boys do.
ReplyDeleteI thought that was a very powerfull speech.
ReplyDeleteThis speech is in inspiring.

ReplyDeleteShe is a very inspirational person and at just 16 years of age she will most likely aspire to greater things. It was very unfortunate that she got shot and the reason that she got shot isn't fair. It's so cool that some people are able to stand up for what they believe and do it for the right reasons. She should be more recognised around the world for her influential actions.
