Room 1 discussed this Dr Seuss quote last week
and we all agree this quote was an excellent link to our daily earning.
We are setting up in class Read to Self and these seven messages are important.
• Reading books is important.
• Reading is something anyone can do.
• Reading is communicating with an author.
• Children are capable of sustained thought.
• Books are meant to be read in large sections.
• The teacher believes that the pupils are comprehending
• The teacher trusts the children to decide when something is well
written, when something important has been read.

Reading is a very pivotal part of life. It help expands your creativity and imagination. And of course your knowledge. And it also helps expand linguistics and the understanding of words.

ReplyDeleteReading is one of my favorite things to do so I do it all the time.It is a great way to expand your word knowledge,vocabulary and punctuation and in some books you can learn new things. Another important attribute to books is the fact that depending on what type of reader or what books your interested in there are many different genres to choose from and with some you can expand your imagination skills. Another thing books can do for you is make you happy when your sad or calm you down when you are angry. Overall I love books as you can tell by the size of this comment so I am sorry this is more Like an essay or paragraph and takes you long to read but I just love books. - Jasmin Jones

ReplyDeleteby reading 5 mins a day for a year your vocabulary expands tremendously you learn so many words iv forgotten the amount.P.S i love books so much :)
Reading is important to me because it helps me to expand my word knowledge, vocabulary and punctuation and if u read for 15 minutes a day you read up to 85,000 a year.
