  10. I am proud of my identity because I am not afraid to try new things and I have to thank my mum who has helped me with my horse riding and I have been pushed out of my comfort zone. That has shown me that trying things out of your comfort zone isn't always that bad, and you can feel proud of yourself afterwards.

  15. well my brother has done the most and when i was little and he would go to stay with his mum i would run into his room thinking we were playing hide and seek and he was hiding there. that's how much he was in my life and that's why i'm different cause that age difference between us would usually make most siblings hate each other

  16. Kia ora Room 1!
I am enjoying following your learning around growing from good to great! We have been focusing on our culture also so I thought I might share my thoughts with you.
I am very close to my whanau and am at the moment learning more about my māori culture and tupuna.
A whakatauki that I love and am living by is 'Kotahi kapua te rangi, he marangai ki te whenua' - one cloud in the sky, raindrops falling to the land. This proverb to me is about me as a teacher (cloud) sharing knowledge (raindrops) to students to give growth (whenua).
I look forward to reading more of your posts Room 1. Have a great term!
