Our Term 3 Unit is Manaakitanga - Doing Your Best For Others

The unit will explore about caring for others, showing kindness and hospitality, treating people with respect and doing ‘Random Acts of Kindness’.

  1. The first statement means to me that you don't have to be rich or famous or like a prime minster to change the world.You can change things by treating people nice and respect them and treat them like you would like them to treat you.
    I could make a difference by being polite to everyone and helping people by doing randoms acts of kindness like helping an old lady take groceries out to her car.

  2. It means that there are some people that are trying hard to make an effort in our world and we need to appreciate that more then we do right now. I could pick up any piece of rubbish I see lying around on the ground.

  3. The first question means to me that it is possible for anyone to make a difference, you don't have to be popular or have an important title.
    I could make a difference by doing more random acts of kindness and by taking more care of our garden.
