Well Week 2 is now finished and here are some snippets of our learning week.



  • Wow our Blog had 26 comments about 'Did You Know 2014'.
  • We developed a Classroom Treaty.
  • We wondered where our number system came from?
  • Our Tech classes started - Media, Food and Science.
  • Year 7's started Music and the Year 8's are due to start Mandarin next week.
  • We have a baby competition in class and there is a prize for the most correct names.     
  • Two of our class members delivered their 'Student Exec Speeches' on Friday. 
  • On Sunday two Morrinsville Intermediate teams completed in a Top Town Team event in Matamata and Brad from Room 1 was lucky enough to be part of a team.

      my moment at school was great i got to know every one i have fun working with people i have had fun with Friday sport, body burst and rangatiratanga loads more i am looking forward to being in room 1 i have so much fun

      i also enjoy learning about new things everyday with out teachers i wouldnt know anything so thanks mrs a and all the others

      I think that my best learning moment in week two was most definitely all the different kinds of energies in science. Kinetic and potential.

      The best part about Week 2 for me would have to be starting the Techs, with the awesome opportunities to learn more about technology and getting a lot more cooking experience (which I've been told I definitely need!)
